Ustadh Shabbir only commented on the du'a part of the video however at the end of the clip, Hasan Minhaj described Allah as "the man upstairs". Whilst I understand that such a phrase is used in American vernacular to refer to a Creator, no Muslim should describe Allah like that because Allah is not a man but He is the Creator of mankind. We hope Hasan can realise his mistake and educate himself on how to speak about Allah in a manner which befits Him. A reminder to all: Intentions are important in Islam however the action has to be correct as well. - Admin Rafiq
