Hajj is a pillar of Islam and many people start saving for years in order to pay for their trip. However does zakah need to be paid on these savings, especially with Zakah being another pillar of the religion? This is answered and explained by Imam Mohammed Mahmoud who is the Senior Imam at East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre.
