Ustadh Asim Khan has studied Arabic and Quranic Sciences in Cairo, Egypt. He has also completed an MSc in Pharmacy from UCL, in London. Ustadh is a presenter on Eman channel, Imam for Redbridge Islamic Centre and a writer for Islam21c. Ustadh Asim has also authored a book of Tafsir on Surah Yusuf called ‘The Heart of the Quran’. He provides educational video content with us at Pilgrim.
This is Shah Kamal. He is a Rohingya refugee whose neighbours were killed in Myanmar (Burma). He was forced to endure a difficult 5-day walk to the coast and then get on a dangerous boat to reach Bangladesh after his village's homes were burnt down.
He currently goes to a school run by Lonely Orphans. With your help, we can reach the target and build a proper school for children like Shah Kamal.
